Next season in '08

ok..... looking to get some details about the next season happening... obviously we wont be starting till some time in January as it would be pointless to try over the silly season.

Ideas, suggestions for style of season. There has been a lot of ideas thrown around so now is your chance to put it on the table officially.

some of the ideas i have heard beeing thrown around where another evo league... starting in C going through to S... being an 8 round season

heard an idea floating of D class muscle cars....

so anyway lets hear em

I still reckon the porsche R3 idea was kinda cool, even though we've kinda done it.

i wouldnt mind a same car comp, like everyone uses the same standard car with no tuning allowed.

Start in RWD NA C class goto S class sweet , but car selection only from a certain region ie Europe US or Japan I think those are the 3....
Turbo and SuperChargers should ban but dont know might need it to make your cars go to S class? + I need some money to buy a Car.

yeah i think the evo league mk 2 is the way to go

but i do like the idea of a specific region.

and only RWD's..... after the carnage from evo version 1 with the AWD's on the start grid

I'm definatly a fan of the evo leagues so anything to do with this is good for me. Just as long as we can tune up our cars.

I'm all for an evo league again. Wonder why??? . Anyway I dont mind the C to S Class idea but I feel we should change things up a little bit. By starting from C-class we are limiting Vehicle choice. Maybe if we have a car quota, 2 cars maybe? Or alternatively Pre pick a car for each class? I dont know but I wann try a different car thats all. The mighty 350z deserves a retirement.

love to run the evo league again or a same car with specific upgrades or no upgrades race would be nice to keep it close and it just come down to driver skill

now i just have to get a new disc again and work on my "secret project" cars or ill just de-tune my HTR Integra which has been dominante as a B class

was just chattin with hawk and thought of an idea.. what about a one make league... say for example an all Honda league... would have things like civics, integra's, s2000's, NSX and most of these cars could also be involved in an evo style event too... i think all of them can drop back to C and can all make it up to S

Anyway just another idea to throw out for thought

i like the idea to sound good. Also switches idea with 2 cars is good to where u have to run one of the 2 cars for a particular amount of races for the season. say we have an 8 race aseason u have to run each car on 4 tracks.

i like this idea it could make it a close race in the points cuz u might run great with one car but not the other



lil something ive been working on. my all carbon fibre time attack WRX STi. 400 horses of understeering power lol still got alot of tuning to do.

only issue i have with the 2 car idea is that it makes it a little more complicated to organise. How would it work with the evo side of things? each car must be used once in each evolution?... so each car must be used for one race in C, in B, in A and in S? coz if thats the case you dont really get a chance to make changes tand improve your car after using it in a particular class.... for example with the old evo league......first race in class C i decide my car is lacking in something and i can change it for the next one... but if it only gets used once before upgrading i cant fix it... coz i then upgrade it for the next class and everything has changed.

for the hondas the only one that dont go to C class besides the R class is the NSX

im pretty sure i have an NSX in C class.............hmm maybe its B... will have to check

I'm just saying with the two car idea that you have the option of using either car that is all. I'm not saying that each one has to be used once in every class or that they both must be used an equal amount of time. Also I dont see why we should ban AWD.

i know i crushed a few peoples spirits when i got a killer jump in my AWD bora just to come to a stop on a slower car in front of me and plowin into em

Yeah but thats an issue YOU have to deal with. Watch the way the traffic unfolds. We have AWD GT-R's that race with us in the state championship and when they have a bad qualifying and start mid pack, they dont hit anyone on their way to the first corner and thats in real life. Surely people using AWD should be able to be aware enough to feather the throttle if needed.

yeah true... i'd say the level of driving ability and respect has also gone up a lot since the first season too

very true... personally doesnt matter im pretty much ready for anything especially in the hondas.

O and dam u gemonic i havent stop listening to that song since u sent it too me wish i could find more of there music around here.
