Gem Racing has today made an official announcement about this seasons sponsorship deals. In a strange twist this season, the Gem Racing car will only have a single sponsor. Gemonic, team owner/driver was quoted as saying, “We were approached my Mugen, they offered to supply us with the car for the season and all upgrades and technical advice we needed for the entire season. All they asked for was to be the sole sponsor of our vehicle. Myself and the rest of the team had a long think about this and decided it was a good idea. We would not need to find more sponsorship deals and it would be easy for us to get the parts we need easily, and we all know the reputation Mugen has for its parts.”
So there you have it folks, a bold new sponsorship deal this season for they guys at GR. We will keep you posted if we hear any news on other teams sponsorship dealings and any news in general about the ITR evo season.

New News just came in from the Hawk Talon Garage Crew.
After a Fall out with the Mugen company, Hawk Talon Racing has found a quick response from the mitsubishi group with a new mitsubishi Eclipse GTS that has seem to be Very Quick and a front runner for the season.

When asked about the fall out, hawkeye simply responded "I dont have much to say on the subject its all water under the bridge to me. we just couldn't see eye to eye on certaint matters."

Ive hooked up with Mitsubishi and they gave me a awesome car that should be a top runner through out the season. We are in final stages of tuning, and just anxious to get underway with practicing to see how it runs with the competition.

We come to u live from the king cobra raceway complex where Hawkeye of HTR will be giving and announcement about his team and this years evo leagues upcoming season. We now go to the stage as hawkeye prepares to give his announcement.

I Hawkeye along with the rest of the Hawk Talon Racing camp are here today to announce that we have decided to sign with Skunk2 and Turbonetics as our sponsers for this years Evo 2 Season. We are pround and excited to be bringing there talent and knowledge to our team and can only expect no less then perfect performance out of these two companys to help in our chase for our first championship. Thank You.

'NEW TEAM ON THE MAP'

whispers have been heard about a 'new team on the map'.
K1LO5 KUSTOMZ, a brand new org for the upcoming evo league
will be one to watch out for, not just for the bright paintjob
(see below) but also for the outstanding speed that the team
Honda S2000 has been able to achieve.





@ a recent track test day @ Laguna Seca, onlookers were
amazed by the quick lap times being achieved in such a
short period of time (1.36 lows). Team driver/owner K1LO5
said that he was very happy with the consistency of the S2000
and that there was alot too look forward too as the season
progressed.

With JUN workshop & KENWOOD signing on as major sponsors,
things look very promising for the new team on the block, keep
a close eye out for 'KILO5 KUSTOM5'
